A Certificate and Eight Vests for the Cameron Gardens Volunteer Fire Department

Worshipful Master Paul Arbogast, P.M., and Senior Warden C.J. Arbogast presented the Cameron Gardens Volunteer Fire Department with a Certificate of Recognition for more than fifty years of service to Wichita County, together with eight bulletproof vests donated through Redemption Tactical to help keep its volunteers safe.

Cameron Gardens Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1974 and has answered the call in Wichita County for more than five decades. Emergency response, firefighting, rescue, training, community service — given freely, by neighbors, for fifty-two years. The certificate recognizes that work “in the interests of fire protection, prevention, and emergency medical response.”

Our thanks to the Brethren of the Lodge who made the gift possible.

Brother Tony Torres, P.M., Receives the Golden Trowel

Burkburnett Lodge No. 1027 presented the Golden Trowel to Brother Tony Torres, P.M., in recognition of his years of service to the Lodge. Brother Torres serves the Lodge as Tiler.

The Golden Trowel is given at the Worshipful Master's discretion, to a Brother whose work for his Lodge has earned particular recognition. It is not an office and it is not sought — it is the Lodge saying thank you, in front of the Brethren, to a man who has quietly done the work for a long time.
